The President and First Lady did, in fact, return on Thurs. 5 Dec. to light the National Christmas Tree in front of the White House. All was ready to go. Judy Note: I worked in Child Welfare including Protective Services for close to ten years. Although I am convinced some state Child Welfare Systems are corrupt such as we find in southern California, Florida, Arizona and several other states, I believe that in general overworked Child Welfare and Protective Service workers try very hard to make decisions in the best interest of the child. However, I found those decisions were often overruled by perpetrator parents who had the funds and means to cover up their evil deeds, a corrupt legal system including judges, lawyers, police officers and state officials who were too often influenced and in some cases governed, by perpetrators.
