A top USA journalist has made a genuine full apology to President Trump after the Mueller Report found there was no collusion with Russia.

It is important to understand how highly-skilled journalists like Attkisson ended up reporting 'a tremendous amount of false information'. Mainstream media outlets worldwide are all owned by several giant global companies. It has been easy for them to control the narrative - up until now.
There are plenty of videos on line of 'talking heads' on USA TV news shows using the same phrase in their nightly bulletins. How can that be? It happens because they ALL receive the same 'talking points'. It is referred to by the alternative media as 'the 4am talking points' because that is the time they receive their propaganda talking points for the day.
It is the same situation here in New Zealand, whether it is television, radio, newspapers or magazines. There has not been ONE positive story about President Trump come out of ANY New Zealand media outlet in the last two years. It is the most gross form of journalistic bias I have ever seen since I trained as a journalist in 1973.
Now that President Trump has been exonerated by the Mueller Report, what will these same media outlets do? 'Egg on their face' doesn't come close to explaining their current dilemma. Much of their defamatory reporting about President Trump could see them sued in court. Many journalists in USA could be facing charges of sedition or treason.
I appreciate this heart-felt apology from Sharyl Attkisson. It takes great courage to admit that you were wrong, especially in such a sustained manner over a two year period.
I look forward to further apologies from journalists around the world - including right here in New Zealand.
