In America, during the first American Revolution, Patriots pledged "their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor" in their quest for freedom. Many of them felt that Divine Providence was their only path to victory.
Also in America, there were those loyal to the Crown, who felt this band of misfits were transparently doomed to failure against the biggest Empire on Earth. Therefore, they placed their bets on England, and even signed up to fight on that side in some instances.
Then, there was a third, smaller side. This faction claimed: "King George and George Washington are both equally corrupt! Don't support either of them. The common man never wins!"
Being in the first category myself in this Second American Revolution (whose 'shot heard round the world' was Donald Trump coming down that escalator to announce his candidacy in 2015) I understand all about fighting against the second type. They have staked their claim (symbolically) for the British Crown and under the established terms of the game, we must officially defeat them, on the political playing field this time.
Yet, it is the third group I find particularly pernicious. They are much smaller in number, but they have a way of pulling nascent patriots off the field with their tactics of demoralization and cynicism. In terms of past eras, there is much to be cynical about, hence there is ground for them to stand on with their point of view.
But what their view doesn't account for is the moment when great change is truly possible, when the right leader and movement has actually arrived. Remember, George Washington and his band of misfit Patriots defeated the invincible Empire of that day. Washington had traitors, even amongst his own personal guard, but he knew his quest was guided by a higher Source, wherein the impossible could be made possible.
Regardless of what anyone's beliefs are today, atheists included, what matters is that these Founders staked everything on an essentially spiritual belief, not a political or materialistic one, and they built an entire Country on this belief. That is why their cause succeeded, and why, in this very moment today, the eyes of the entire world are watching to see what comes to pass in the USA.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness...
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor."
Today, we only have a United States of America (and our Constitution & Bill of Rights, with the sacred freedoms they entail) because the Continental Army won the First American Revolution against unimaginable odds. Perhaps, back then the numerical majority did not support the revolutionary effort. People like to be on the side that wins. But enough of the right ones did support it. And supporting the effort meant waging your life on it and your family's life upon it.
In this moment of history, the battle is being fought on fields of kinetic warfare, but it is primarily a war of information for the hearts and minds of the people. In that sense, each and every person is involved in their own unique way, even those observing from the sidelines, playing Switzerland while they see what happens.
When Washington's side was victorious, the majority came around almost overnight. The miracle had happened and there was no point in denying it.
People like to be on the winning side.
Donald J. Trump and the Patriots are the winning side of the Second American Revolution. To some, this may seem laughable, especially at this late hour, yet I tell you, when the tide turns in this election, it will turn in a single day.
That is all it will take to turn from [B]iden appearing to be a lock--> to almost everyone knowing that Donald Trump has secured his second term. The timing of that one day is a mystery to most, but it is as inevitable as the sun rising, and it gets closer and closer every moment, until it finally happens.
It will be the shock felt around the world.
I don't mind having opponents on the other side of this battle. I might even like it. It's that third party I find tricky. Those with enough knowledge to seed doubt on both sides, but not enough to get in the real fight for freedom when it is on their very doorstep.
In the end, we will bring virtually everyone around. There might be a small percentage who are too far gone to wake up. They will be a sad group, indeed, but there's only so much one can do.
Miraculous victories guided by Divine Providence have a curious way of turning hearts on a dime. We did it once with this great Country and we are destined to do it again--> in this very election, and in what transpires in its wake.
Enjoy this great transformative December, including its Star of Bethlehem Great Conjunction on the 21st. You are living pages out of an incredible historical moment when the tide turns and everything changes in a profound and stunning way. Embrace the inherent possibilities of that, whatever side you are on.
