Ethnicity: Irish, Welsh, one eighth English. John Lennon was a British musician, singer, songwriter, and composer. He was a member of the band The Beatles, along with George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr. John was the son of Julia Elizabeth (Stanley) and Alfred Lennon.
After returning to the public eye with his November 1980 ‘Double Fantasy’ album, John was assassinated on December 8 at 40, silencing him from using his celebrity for any more peace protests or enlightening song lyrics.
