Imaginary solutions in math use ‘i’ = the square root of minus one. Also, i x i x i x i = 1
Imaginary solutions found in electrodynamics (plane waves, phasors) and quantum mechanics (probability amplitudes, quantum wave amplitude) are accepted by physics.
In the film ‘A Brief History of Time’ (1992) about cosmologist Stephen Hawking, the inevitable failure of the Big Bang Theory is discussed quote:
Trouble with the classical theory of physics is (when) as space and time appear, (at) the Big Bang is a singularity, and the mathematics, the laws of physics break down (can’t put a singularity into math terms using classical theory).
If you go in the imaginary direction of time or in ‘imaginary time’ there need not be any singularities.
Imaginary time has the peculiar property of having a ‘now’ possibility without necessarily having a chain of past moments.
As you trace events back to the origin, the nature of time changes to have a more prominent imaginary component, and the classical theory singularity gets smoothed away and the creation of the Universe is a picture ‘with’ a smooth bowl past with no initial point, just a smooth shape.

What age is Maxwell in the lyrics above? He is majoring in medicine, but then he is referred to as ‘boy’ who has to write on the blackboard as if he is in grade school, and then he stands alone in court before the judge.
Possible symbolic interpretation imaginary solution:
Maxwell is a hidden dove, though not named as such.
Dove symbolism is about a young boy called a dove who is ‘used’ in an ancient Egyptian ceremony. Latin / French = Colombia, British Columbia, Columbine and even the mostly murder solving detective Colombo (Peter Falk -n) are all representations or part of that ritual on a bigger scale.
Twist + aside: In Morse Code A = ._ (dot, dash) and E = . (dot) and T = _ (dash), so if A represents Aton, then Aton = ET.
