A quick refresher for those who may not understand why I am calling out this base location. In Q4 of last year, the 2020 National Defense Act called for a study on prison options relative to Kwajelein Atoll in the South Pacific and XPL Honduras - these were in addition to GITMO. For those who were following me on twitter, you may remember that XPL has produced a few interesting flights to and from GITMO - two of those in particular were around the time that Julian Assange was being moved around as well as Edward Snowden. There has never been any confirmation; but like everything else as it relates to GITMO, speculation.

That brings us to the activity ending the week of 6.7.20 with a quick rundown of what we see on the board:
RCHA612 out of Charleston is known as a “Reach” commonly C17 and C5 aircraft and is a supply run. TITUS65 is a little Beech BE20 aircraft and has been known for being US Embassy related. It is common to see base commander fly these as well. MAGMA88 is one we have been seeing more of lately. This is a Spec Ops bird - likely a prisoner transport acft. This plane came out of Crestview FL as well as Miami Executive, Monday and Thursday, respectively. ATN is a Boeing 757-200 and more than likely is a troop rotation. Then we have the helo N654PF which I believe is a transport between the Honduras prison system and XPL. And last but not least, we have N8BG which is a Beech 200 twin engine acft owned by Colonel Science LLC - which we have seen a few times pop in and out of XPL.
My read is that we see troops staffing up for additional prison support very similar to what we see with the GITMO ops. The MAGMA88 is a prisoner transport bird and the colonel science is likely an “agency” aircraft doing what they do best.
