Update March 30th:
A few curious things from yesterday and today;
1. I received letters from my banks (yes I have several) notifying me of an amendment to their system, and updates to their rules.
This may be in line with the quantum computing changes that are taking place, as the letters stated that most funds would be available on the same day, with some exceptions.
They also stated that the amount that could be deposited and withdrawn per day would be increasing.
They also made a point to state that at any time your account could be closed without any reason being needed, by either yourself or a banker.
This gives you more control over your own account and your own money.
2. In an address to the public Trump made clear that he had "inherited a broken system" unable to sustain the large amount of data being transferred in the corona crisis.
He also stated that he had "fixed it".
A hint about the new quantum system?
3. On google they have released a message that states they are updating their terms of service as of March 31st.
The original infamous deadline for Zim redemptions.
Curiouser and curiouser.
4. I received an email from the White House today stating that the corona-quarantine on hot-spots was being extended to April 30th.
Perhaps they needed more time to roll out redemption appointments?
As I am tier 4b, and have not received any notification of an appointment...and they DEFINITELY know who I am...I think we may have a bit longer to wait than the original deadline.
An extension is fine by me.
5. Many of the restaurants have upgraded their financial tech, even in rural areas, as of this week.
Most transactions can now be done through a chip card reader or virtually on a futuristic-looking menu tablet.
Most places are switching to purely automated systems and almost all bills are encouraged to be paid online.
This has been an on-going change for a while, but there was a noticeable and major leap forward after the CV2 lockdown was implemented.
6. Plane are still flying overhead, but no cruise ships are coming in and out, and very few helicopters are in the skies.
Law enforcement has suddenly and rapidly disappeared.
Parks are still closed, but people are still out walking, bike riding, driving and doing pretty much what they normally do.
A few places have boarded up windows, there are reports of 2 known break-ins, so far.
All the guards are near the state buildings, banks and grocery stores.
Welcome to the madness!
7. There are reports that many people have been laid off and are relying on the 2.2 Trillion $ stimulus package to support their unemployment through April 30th.
I have inside knowledge from a trusted source that all those currently hooked into the financial system will not see an immediate change to their benefits.
It is only people affected by the corona-crisis who apply for benefits, that will be affected by the stimulus package.
All other changes to the financial system are being done behind the scenes, and I cannot relay that information at this time.
Shhh...It's a secret!
8. There have been some VERY noticable tech glitches occurring lately.
My mobile phone will no longer send or receive multi-media messages.
My TV's auido randomly dissapeared when I was playing a video game.
My mobile device (yes it's a different one than my mobile phone) did not show a payment I had scheduled on one of my credit accounts, but when I logged on to my computer it showed it just fine.
I could not link any of my bank accounts to my paypal accounts.
I even had the captions on a YouTube video randomly start dissolving into nonsense.
Literally it went from "He said that the...." to "sejvv hddjb xssrgcbjm" in one sentence!
The TV in the laundry room started pixellating, and lost audio completely.
And by far the strangest tech glitch is with my email on my mobile phone.
It will, at random, start typing things when I am not touching the screen.
And/or type different letters than the ones I am pressing.
This has happened several times now, and it is making it nearly impossible for me to write emails to my loved ones across the globe!
I do not have a virus, I have checked.
I do not have mal-ware, I have checked.
The only thing that fixes all of these glitches is shutting down and restarting my devices, sometimes several times in a row.
Pretty sure it's hackers in my email.
Especially considering I got 2 emails from my web site provider telling me not to worry about hackers...one in English and one in RUSSIAN!
...and down the rabbit hole we go!
I take it upon myself to scout out the changes occurring in this wonderful wonderland we all call home.
I believe it is up to us to report accurate and honest information, as strange or undesirable as it may be.
