It is not good for a country when a supposedly independent and objective group of media services continue to try and slur and smear an elected leader in such a blatant unremmiting manner
We know why many are afraid and will use the media as their tool to hold back the inevitable but think.
The majority or at the very least near majority of the american people were intelligent and perspicacious enough to elect the optimum candidate for the benefit of their country who has been proving just how sagacious they were and are since his election.
Surely they deserve a decent objective news service in return and as a reward, at the very least so they know there is somewhere they can get there news from intelligent researchers and broadcasters where there will not be a blatant underlying agenda to undermine as soon as possible the leader they were enlightened enough to elect.
And also for two more very good reasons...
To demonstrate to them how many and how truly vast their numbers are.
To demonstrate to them how truly united they are.
Why doesn't the President, the administration or some enlightened and therefore 'clean' entrepreneur set up a rolling news service, free of poisonous agendas. (One that will be completely unafraid to turn the cameras on the crowds at the respective rallies of the President and his challenger(s) for one thing.)
These are amazing times in both planetary and US history (laughable understatement) given that there are so many decent, good hearted and intelligent americans around their journey should not be characterised at this most significant juncture in their lives and history by such a loud chorus of spin and lies from the media end of things.
What it is, is infra dig.
Frankly, they did the right thing, the country is moving in a very healthy direction and they deserve a news service that reflects that on a daily basis.
That such good people are served so badly by their media, there is clearly a very big very bad hole here that needs filling so the road reflects the dignity, honesty and virtue of its travellers.
And when that news service proves far more popular and accurate than rest of the circus...
